The EPA has reported that poor Indoor Air Quality is now the #1 leading environmental health concern and one of the 5 greatest public health risks.
According to the CDC, poor air quality is the leading cause of asthma attacks, a condition leading to 10 million lost school days and 14 million lost work days each year.
The World Health Organization (WHO) states “indoor air pollution causes 14 times more deaths than outdoor pollution, or about 2.8 million lives each year.”
According to studies, Indoor Air Pollution is 2 to 100 times more polluted than the air outside. Vehicles are 5 times WORSE than indoor spaces because of mold in the vehicle’s dark and warm AC vent system!!!
Indoor Air Quality is a serious issue that shouldn't be ignored or left untreated.
IF NOT ADDRESSED...Unseen toxic invaders can continue to build up until they directly cause asthma, allergies, coughing, fatigue, headaches, skin and eye irritation, tingling, numbness and drowsiness or dizziness.
It’s alarming that indoor air has become so contaminated, especially when children are considered. Physiologically, they are more vulnerable to toxic vapors because of their higher metabolic rate. They breathe in more than twice as much oxygen (and therefore toxins) relative to body size than adults. They are more active, which increases their breathing rate and they play close to the floor where heavier pollutants settle.
For the first time in history, it’s safer to be in the wilderness than in your own home.
